Due to the process of dying with natural materials, each scarf is unique and will vary in color and pattern.

These scarves are made by women from the communities surrounding Indonesia’s Way Kambas National Park, home to some of the world’s most endangered species, including Sumatran rhinos, tigers and elephants. The International Rhino Foundation has joined efforts to support groups from local communities surrounding Way Kambas to replant forests and create income opportunities - like eco-printing - that won’t require people to encroach into or destroy habitat for threatened species. 100% of the profits from scarves sold by IRF will benefit reforestation and community development projects in Sumatra.

The scarves are woven by hand on a traditional loom and dyed and decorated using fallen leaves and flowers from reforestation sites in Way Kambas National Park, including those from rhino food plants. Due to the process of dying with natural materials, each scarf is unique and will vary in color and pattern. The scarves measure approximately 75 in by 21 in (190 cm by 53 cm).
