Garamba: Conservation in Peace & War

Edited by Kes Hillman Smith & José Kalpers, with Luis Arranz & Nuria Ortega

Garamba National Park in the Democratic Republic of Congo is one of the richest oases of biodiversity on the planet. Garamba was home to the world's last northern white rhinos, although sadly none have been seen there since 2006. Nonetheless, Garamba still boasts a remarkable array of animal and plant life, as well as some stunningly beautiful natural scenery.

This beautiful hard-back coffee table book provides an overview of the history of Garamba, as well as recent and ongoing conservation efforts, all illustrated by beautiful photography.
